San Vicente is a Costa Rican community located 17 km southeast of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, and 20 km northeast of Nicoya. From Santa Cruz, the road is paved until Guatil (which is 2 km before San Vicente).
The road from Nicoya to San Vicente is gravel, but accessible to all types of vehicles.
Visitors to San Vicente are invited to visit the families’ homes and workshops to see the pottery process, learn the technique, and purchase pieces.
